This card’s image is printed on matte photo paper, which is adhered to an archival card stock.  Blank inside, perfect for all occasions.  The card measures 4.5×6″, and comes with a natural cream envelope, optionally packaged in an acid-free clear bag.

(Please note that this card and all of the cards that include a border are not created on recycled paper, or with soy inks.  Each of these cards are created by hand instead of a large print run).

The story behind the image:

The idea for the painting, “A Dreamer’s Odyssey”, came while I was dreaming and saw myself sleeping. To create the image, I had my sister model for me, and I carefully arranged the folds of the sheets. Originally the dreamer was in a different environment, then years later I decided to re-appropriate my own image by cutting the dreamer out of the scene and creating a new environment of chirping birds above her in a tree. The scene was painted on clear vinyl and floated above a “canvas” of textured fabric.
